Ellie spoke with Matt Critchell, Head of Revenue at Manifest Climate. Matt took on this role to fight climate change and has a fascinating approach to revenue growth. 

Matt believes everyone is revenue-generating in the business. Alignment between all groups is critical from the CEO all the way down. If there isn’t alignment it’s difficult as not everyone’s steering in the same direction. He creates overarching objectives, each team has key results to strive towards.

Matt has deep experience in SAS and startups. He believes in the mission of Manifest Climate and explains they are in the early days as a startup. They are very quick and nimble, building a company from the ground up. As part of a startup, he gets to experience all aspects of the business. He believes you have a lot more responsibility and feel more attached to it. It’s a very different feeling to a larger organisation.
