so what is our business model? don’t worry we are not like the others… we actually have one, we promise.

user placement

project administrators can define parameters and demographics of users that they are trying to reach. they may invite users to join their project, if that user becomes active, we charge them for the placement... much like a headhunter would.

project featuring

project administrators can pay to have their project promoted throughout the site in our featured project spaces, including our dashboard page, project main pages, and people pages.

private phases

when project administrators run public phases (phases that allow anyone to participate), there is no charge. however, if an administrator is trying to reach a specific audience, like 45 top graphic designers, or their 1000 top retailers, we charge them for closing down the initiative. costs are based upon how many users become active in each private initiative.

backing a bootstrapped

bootstrapped projects are projects that do not have any owner, and are looking for someone who will bring the idea to life. when a bid comes in, the community participating in the project can either accept or reject that bid. if the bid is accepted we will charge the bidder 33% above what they have bid as a brokerage fee.

rewards

we charge a 33% fee to project administrators on top of any reward that they distribute to participants of a project
